How do I organise my container to be railed to MIST?

1) Email the appropriate shipping line requesting that they place your container
into the MIST rail stack

2) Request must be sent through to the shipping line 48hrs prior to vessel berthing

3) To ensure fast and efficient transfer from the wharf to the MIST terminal,
please ensure the container is cleared and released prior to ship discharge.

4) Send a cartage request to bookings@bowport.com.au with all relevant
information regarding this container. Please note that you have set this container up for rail.

5) The below shipping lines need to have the top copy of the delivery order lodged
to the wharf prior to releasing the container into the MIST rail stack.
These delivery orders need to be ready as soon as possible.

It is recommended that the forwarder/broker lodge the top copy of delivery
order directly to the rail co-coordinator at the wharf to ensure there are no delays.
(Advise MIST/Bowport when delivery order has been lodged with wharf).

6) Bowport staff will contact you as soon as your container arrives into the MIST yard.

How do I set my container up if it is underbond?

1) Follow the same procedures as above

2) Organise underbond movement with Customs/shipping line

3) When sending email to shipping line and bookings@bowport.com.au make note
of underbond status

4) Your container will not be released from MIST underbond until the top copy of the delivery order
